Unity Dialogue System

Not an amazing title, but it gets the job done.

I started this project with no idea how to do anything more than put UI elements down in Unity, but was able to learn how to create customizable data files and even edit Unity Editor itself to show the dialogue properly.

Drag N Drop

Can be put into just about any game without any major tweaking.

Customizable

Can be changed to fit whatever project you need. Even lets you use tags to add dynamic bolding and colors to the text without hurting the text scrolling.

Removes Scene from Story

Lets the Narrative Designers write directly from their script without having to open each scene and edit characters directly.

What’s next?

I’m going to attempt to make it even more streamlined and available for use, letting people freely get it directly from either Github or the Unity Store, whichever seems best by the end.

I want it to let people go from having story out of scope to being able to fully implement it by just installing it.
